Stephen had an accident at the age of 21 when he was a medical student which left him with a disability.

Since then he has gained a number of qualifications and worked in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. He is a social entrepreneur who is driven by a passion to improve the life chances of disabled people.

Stephen has worked globally for much of this time and is currently supporting the Shaw Trust with the organisation of the Rehabilitation International World Congress. Stephen is a results-orientated and innovative strategic thinker with sound independent judgement.

His pragmatic, practical and evidence based approach helps organisations deliver solutions that work.

Stephen is an Associate of BDF as well as bdi.
